We are excited to announce our partnership with Eagle Construction whom we have tapped to build 90-100 townhomes at Midtown.

While the Midtown team is unable to save the large oak tree near the front of the site, we still plan to honor the natural landmark by planting its acorns and using the wood for commemorations.

The Blacksburg Town Council authorized its town manager to enter into an approximately $1.6 million agreement with the WM Jordan Company for the design of a new police station and adjacent parking garage.

The Blacksburg Town Council approved the rezoning needed for the long-awaited redevelopment of the old Blacksburg Middle School site.We appreciate all the hard work over the years by the citizens of Blacksburg and Montgomery County, including the Town Staff, Planning Commission, Town Council, Montgomery County leaders and supporters of the project. We can’t wait to break ground on this new Midtown community!

On Friday April 5, town officials reached a tentative deal with Midtown Redevelopment Partners, which among other things, dictated exactly which parts of the roughly 20-acre property the town will develop, finance and own.
